Study
Electronics and communication at IIT Roorkee, 2016 to 2020. Enrollment 16116063. JEE Advanced, rank 1333. The reports are in worksamples. I keep them because this is the same work, younger: sit with a thing until it tells you what it is.
- The thesis, with Divyansh Jain, under Dr. Meenakshi Rawat. A small network took features from a radio signal, and a support-vector machine named the modulation. It held above 90 percent at −5 dB, across 24 schemes. I think of that plot when a production trace looks hopeless. The name is usually in there. You have to be willing to stay.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator, November 2022. Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, May 2023. LFS258, Kubernetes Fundamentals, December 2021.
- CNCF ambassador, 2024–2026. Program committee, KubeCon Europe 2025.
On the bench
- ECN-300, with Dr. Brajesh Kumar Kaushik. I trained a perceptron in Python on MNIST, then built that same classifier again as logic on an FPGA. I wanted to shut the laptop and have it still be there, in the gates.
- ECN-343, November 2018, with Jaskirat Singh, Kaustubh Nayyar, and Rishabh Dhakarwal. A camera, a Raspberry Pi, and the photographs of whatever it believed it was looking at. We kept the frames it got wrong. They were the useful ones.
- For the Inter IIT brief with DRDO we made a glove a person could wear. Flex sensors, an IMU, an XBee mesh, and a camera whose video went out as GMSK through GNU Radio. I could point at each hop. I have trusted that kind of path ever since.
- LED-GRID was 2017. A bare board, then a lot of soldering, then light. A small T-rex eventually ran across it. I wrote about it here, while it was still fresh.
- The humanoid in the photographs was built with the college robotics team. Looking at it now, I mostly remember the wire. The same years held SPICE for a circuits course, a CORDIC notebook I kept in 2019, and FourBoard, a card game for the evenings when I was done with radios.
